Hi, I'm Kelly 👋🏼
I am a wife & a working mum of 3 beautiful young children. I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife with 23 years experience and have now decided to venture into the exciting world of Wrinkle Reducing Injections & Skin Hydration Boosters.
With a passion to make individuals feel like the best versions of themselves, it was a natural progression for me. I am continuing to grow my knowledge in this space and am excited to soon expand my services.
Please email or text me for any further details. I look forward to hearing from you.
What is your favourite food?
Would have to be anything I don’t have to cook. I do love chicken and a good steak.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
My spare time is spent with the family. Both immediate and extended, we are all very close and love to hang out together (though my 13 year old would beg to differ)
Why did you decide to become a nurse?
Back when I was at school I decided to take up nursing because I felt that it was something I could achieve. I worked weekends in a nursing home and loved looking after people. During my new grad year I was struggling to find my niche so decided to give midwifery a go, and that’s where I stayed for 22 years.
Do you have any pets?
I refer to our home as the menagerie. From chickens, fish, a cockatiel (Harvey) and a golden retriever (Buddy). Now the kids are growing up and we can delicate chores it’s getting a little easier. We love our animals. They are teaching the children (and us) so many things. The importance of responsibility, life and most Importantly death.
What is your favourite thing about being a nurse and mid-wife?
Being a nurse has many benefits. Over the years it has proven to be flexible. I have been able to travel the world and earn money in other countries while galavanting around. I have been able to raise my family and work in between, doing shifts that fit into our routines. It’s very social, I have met some amazing people and have made wonderful life long friends.
Midwifery is amazing. Such a versatile extension of nursing. After years of rotating between birthing suite and postnatal, having my own babies made me think postnatal was what suited me the best. Who would deny baby cuddles and helping new mums navigate their first days?
What made you decide change from nursing to become an injector?
I decided to become an injector as a bit of a side hustle. I wanted to be able to provide a service where people felt comfortable knowing I have a nursing background and they will be treated with the upmost care and respect. I don’t want people to feel anxious about having Anti-wrinkle treatments. We talk about what worries you the most and we take it from there.
What is the most popular area on the face for wrinkle reduction injections in your clinic?
The upper face is the most asked for treatment. Whether it be forehead and frown, crows’ feet or all of them together.
