  • What is the best age to start skin smoothing injections?

    This varies from person to person as every individual skin concern and condition is different. On average the best age to start and continue treatments as a preventative is around 23. If you start in your 20s to early 30s you will see the best results in the long run.

  • How long will the effects of my wrinkle reduction treatment last?

    There treaments last anywhere between 12-16 weeks (generally). This will also depend on your lifestyle, diet and other external factors. 


    We also use 2 different products, one shows results that last slightly longer than the other. To find out which product is best for you, give Kelly a call.

  • Will I get a headache post treatment?

    Not everyone gets a headache, however it is normal to have a mild headache post wrinkle reduction treatment. 


    If you do experience a headache in the days following the injections, it is safe to take paracetamol as directed by instructions or your health care professional.

  • What are adverse reactions of wrinkle smoothing injections?

    It is not common for clients to experience adverse reactions from wrinkle smoothing injections, however they can happen.


    These might include some of the following:

    • Drooping of the eyelid, eyebrow or lower face
    • Prolonged redness swelling and/or heat to the injection sites
    • Prolonged itchy or burning sensation to the treatment area
    • Extensive bruising or swelling
    • Blurred or altered vision

  • Does it hurt getting these treatments?

    Everyone has a different pain threshold and everyone will feel it more in more sensitive areas of the face or skin. 


    If you are worried about the pain, we do provide a numbing ointment that can be applied to the skin prior to the wrinkle reducing injections to minimise the pain you may feel.
